Polk County Bank employees help raise over $91,000 for IPTV
Volunteers answered pledge phones from 6 p.m. 10 p.m., answering over 750 calls to help raise over $91,000 for IPTV. Mary Miller, Sue Harney, Diane Lukasik, Cheri Schouten, Jason Parnell, Tim Byrnes, and Jan Byrnes volunteered to join the fun and make a difference by answering pledge phone calls.

W.C. Miller, Chairman Emeritus of Polk County Bank, Honored For 74-Years of Service to the Banking Industry
The Iowa Bankers Association (IBA) recognized W. C. Miller, Chairman Emeritus of Polk County Bank, for 74-years of service to the banking industry. The IBA “50 year” luncheon and presentation was part of the 122nd IBA Convention held in Des Moines on September 23, 2008.

Historic City Hall Second Floor Restoration Project Named Miller Hall
The second floor of Polk City’s historic City Hall will once again be an active community meeting space and stage thanks to a generous donation by the W.C. Miller family. The City Hall was originally used as a schoolhouse in 1863 and was purchased by the city in 1894 to serve as the Town Hall.
