Community Outreach and Grants
As a community bank, our money comes from – and stays in – the community.
Our name says Polk County, but we also serve a broad community including Story, Boone, Dallas, and Warren counties. Our support runs deep for this community, and money goes back into the community to fund families, businesses, and growth. We provide banking services for nearly 5,000 homes and businesses in and around the metro. The bank and its employees donate time, treasure, and talent to local schools and childhood education programs every year.
We're a part of the greater central Iowa family, and families stick together. That's why each year Polk County Bank employees contribute thousands of hours to local community groups. Our team is passionate about contributing to the community through participation and leadership.
Polk County Bank provides community grants approved quarterly by the outreach committee to help support the quality of life in Polk County. We don't do it for publicity, or a tax write off, or to impress anyone. We do it because it's the right thing to do, and because it feels good to be part of a community.
