A Letter From Our Chairman
During the course of business every week, I have people ask me a fundamental
question: "Why should I do business with your bank?" It's a great question, and
I'm always glad they ask.
You should do business with Polk County Bank because we care about this community as much as you do. Whether you're interested in personal or business banking (or both), the people of Polk County Bank are just like you – we know what it's like to live, work, play, raise a family, and operate a business in central Iowa.
My family has literally grown up in the banking industry. My grandfather, A. F. Miller, joined the bank in 1910. Today four generations of the Miller family have served customers through our bank. One of the reasons we chose the oak tree as our company's symbol is that it reflects the strength and stability of four generations of Millers, as well as our deep, enduring roots in the community.
Those roots give us an intimate understanding of the challenges involved in running a small business. I consider it our duty to focus our expertise, common experience, and shared sense of community
to helping our customers succeed. To do that, the bank has assembled a committed, responsive, helpful team of advisors who will listen to your challenges and help find the best solution.
I invite you to give us a call – or better yet come and visit one of our locations. I think you'll notice the difference that a local, family-operated business offers.
So why should you do business with us? Because we understand you – better than most other banks do, and we have a 105-year (and counting) track record to prove it.
Thanks for visiting our web site. I hope to see you in person soon.
Robert Miller
Chairman
